Home or gym workouts?

The best one out of the two for me is definitely signing up in the gym. But the challenge is that many people do not do not have easy access to gym facilities around them. So in that sense they do not have a choice than to work out at home.
Still, others believe that you can get the same results from both home and gym workouts.

But if you could choose, which one will you go for?

I haven't done much working out lately, but if I do workout, it's going to be at home where I can privately look like a fool. I don't like going to a gym to workout among other people. I probably could do it, but I am not about to spring for a gym membership anytime soon. I'm sure I could do a good workout routine at home with what I already have. But, if it's a more private gym, where I'm with a group of friends, I might consider it, but usually it's at home workouts for me.

I had a good laugh reading that. 😅
So you feel more comfortable in a private gym than a public one. This is most people, but it’s just that there is a lot to learn in a public gym compared to a private one.

I don't go to gym but I do some workouts at home but not daily because of my laziness. Planning to buy some workout equipments to workout at home.
What you need is just to be consistent with your routine. What can help you is to have a time dedicated to your workouts every morning. So the moment you wake up you should get to it immediately. Once you get used to it, it gets easier.

I’d go with gym workouts, no question. There’s just something about being in that environment, it keeps you from being lazy. At home, I’ll tell myself I’ll start in five minutes, and before I know it, the days gone. But in the gym, once you’re there, you get it done. Still, I respect home workouts a lot. They save money and can be super effective if you’re consistent. I think it depends on personality. Some people thrive on self-discipline, others need that public pressure the gym gives. Personally, I need that crowd to keep me going.

I don't do home work out, I don't go to the gym either. If you are disciplined and if you have gym equipment home workout can also be very good. But is is really difficult to remain consistent with home workout.
Home workout requires a lot of discipline. I prefer a gym but for the time and availability. One can get results at home if one sticks to a plan maybe by using an App.

Yup there are times when the motivation is just not there when you are at home. But when you are surrounded by other gym rats you would definitely want to do something. If you paid you also don’t want your money to go to waste too.

Both, ideally.
I can only go once a week to the gym, so I try to complement with home workouts. If I was just at home, I probably wouldn't keep myself accountable as much.
Well you are doing fine. Is there a specific reason why you can go to the gym only once in a week?
There are some people that have not stepped into the gym before, and they are working out quite fine at home.

Mostly work. I can't really fit Gym before or after work. So I use one of my days off so to go. I also walk there. Usually takes me around 40-55 minutes to get there and then the walk back, haha. So once a week works okay and I aim for at least 2 home workouts alternating days.
