On my way home from the market today, I noticed a wallet that had fallen on the road and someone pulling cash out of a wallet.
I wanted to say something to the person, but I didn't.

Have you taken cash out of a wallet you found on the road? Never in my life have I done it. Perhaps I still have honesty...

Yes, I always pick up the money I find on the street however, I avoid picking up coins. I haven't found any wallet but I have found banknotes. If I found wallet, maybe I would try to return to the owner if there is an address.

That's so kind of you.

I also my wallet few years ago but I could not get it back. I was upset because my licence and Adhar card (ID) were there in the wallet.

I have in the past found money on the floor. I remember when I was younger, I was walking into town with friends, and I found £10 on the floor.

If I ever find a lot of money or even a wallet, I always hand it in to the police station.

I also will do the same. Who knows there may be some important documents in the wallet of the person who lost it. They may be scrap for us but precious for that person.

In this part of the world, picking money from the road is quite risky because of the ritualist . Sometimes you would see money lying helplessly on the ground and your spirit will just say "don't touch it.” I remember the day I went to the market, there was 1k on the ground near the market and everyone was just looking like it’s cursed.

@uptrendfinancialsignal I have never heard or seen it. What will the ritualist get by doing this? I have heard about the gold here—that losing or finding gold is a curse. Still, people pick it up if they find it on the road or anywhere; they even steal it if they get a chance.

Even though it is considered dangerous to pick money on the road in my country, I usually pick every money I see on the floor and nothing has happened. I can't just let free money pass me by because of some superstitious beliefs!

@Teegold This is superstition. I don't believe in it when I benefit . Didn't you face anything bad after picking up money from the road, or didn't anyone scold you for picking up money? Maybe your parents might have scolded you for it?.

Oh yeah I would just consider it as an answer to my prayer. But if I found a wallet that has the address and the contact of the owner there I would try my best to contact the person and return it.
