It would seem that Rockstar have revealed why they fired GTA 6 developers, and it seems it was for a good reason.

The question is, will we ever get a solid date for a GTA 6 release without it moving?

Previously, the former Rockstar Games developers and their representatives claimed that they were fired for being part of a union, attempting to unionize, and/or for belonging to a trade union Discord group. However, Rockstar Games has now shared an official statement of its own to Bloomberg, claiming that the decision had nothing to do with members of its company unionizing. Instead, Rockstar Games' representative said that it had found that select individuals were "distributing and discussing confidential information in a public forum," which goes against Rockstar Games' policies. Given past GTA 6 leaks, Rockstar has likely been trying to clamp down on any further incidents.

That is a little painful. GTA 6 is actually taking forever, and now this firing again. I just hope the game won’t suffer because of all this internal issues here and there. One thing I know is that Rockstar always delivers, but it's been a while since GTA 5 dropped. If they’re letting people go, then the pressure must be crazy.
