As parents when raising up kids managing the amount of time they spend watching TV is extremely important, how much screentime do you think is enough when raising up a kid, and how much screentime is considered as too much?
It is a tricky approach because we can't approach it the same way for all children, especially with so many gadgets around kids today. I think 2 hours sounds reasonable for kids so that it won't take away other life responsibilities. It's even good to mix entertainment mixed with learning.
It is not easy to give answer to this question by recommending certain number of hours. How much screen time you should give depends on what your kid does. My kid watches educational content and I don't put any kind of restrictions.
It is up to the parents to use their discretion and judgement to decide for the kids. But the fact is if you leave your kids they can spend 16 hours a day on their devices. So it is up to you to set the standards for them so that it does not affect their performance in their studies and also their extracurricular activities.
