Do you always finish every game you start?

I do not finish every game I start, in fact there is a lot of games that I started in the past, and never finished them. Cyberpunk 2077 is one that comes to mind. I was probably half the way through, but quit after a while and then they required that the game be played on an SSD and I didn't have enough space, so instead just deleted it. I'll eventually finish it later though.

But, there are many other games I have gone through somewhat and stopped playing for whatever reason and never got back to it. But, there are some games I will revisit.

Not always. I have a really extensive backlog of titles.......

I don't always finish the games i start, there are tons of games i have started but did not even get to half of the game, some of them i stopped at the first stage of the game.
It understandably happens to gamers at one point. There is nowhere it is written that it is a must you finish all the games you play. But what would you say is the cause of your own backlogs?

Absolutely not. I started a lot of games and failed to complete them. There are those that I simply lose interest halfway, and others that I am distracted by a new release or so. There is this massive backlog I got, tempting me every time to open my console. However, when a game actually hit me, the story, characters, all that, if they resonate with me, I would go extra mile.

I would be lying if I said that I finish every game that I start, as I know there are many games I started, and never completed.

If I had more time, I would make it my aim to start and complete as many games as I could.

This seems to be a normal life of most adults these days. We plan to enjoy ourselves with some games and we do not even have the time to go through with them. But then could it be that the games also do not interest us much? Because it will be hard to suspend a game we actually enjoyed playing. We will most likely look forward to playing it.

This is a good way of looking at it. I tend to buy games but don't always play through them all and when I think about it, in a sense, some games do not seem quite as interesting as games used to be years ago, when I used to play.

I used to feel guilty about not finishing games but life's too shorts and always coming with other stuff I need to take care of, so nowadays I try to keep myself more in the mindset that the games are to serve me not me to serve the games. The moment I am doing it because of sunken fallacy or guilt, I rather stop. At this point I just have so many games I want to try, so I might as well take it easy and just jump to the next one if one is not gripping me properly after giving them a proper go.

It's very hard to finish a single game unless it is a very easy and small game. I have tried most games, but I was only able to finish Prince of Persia. I could not know what I would do, but plating a lot of times made me win.
