When I was in high school, I had a crush, but it was only an admiration for the person. He has the qualities my eyes appreciated. His look, smile, flawless skin, and sweetness always melted my heart. He was half Chinese and half Filipino. His dad was a businessman in our place. All the girls at our school had a crush on him. But it lasted only some weeks, it was only puppy love, and when a sudden wind crashes the feelings of admiration, what is left is only the reality that it wasn't love. Though I spent some nights tossing in bed thinking about him, with the passing days, I realized that it is better to have many friends than to have a crush. Indeed, life is crazy.

I no longer see him after our high school graduation. I learned that he is already a Medical Doctor. He is now residing in Manila with his family. He married a Chinese. That was only a fun thing during our typing lives.. I don't believe that anyone does not experience this.

There is no one that would pass through high school without a few crushes, if we are being honest with ourselves. I had a few then, I even crushed on my teacher. It was a normal thing to happen at such age.

When we're having a crush our feeling is awesome. We're tossing in bed and keep on imagining the person we like. The feeling fades though. It's called puppy love.

I haven't seen anyone who does not have a crush for high school? The funny thing is that my own crush doesn't even show any interest. I used to follow her to different places like a moron and always borrowing notes I didn’t need from her. There was a day I even ironed my uniform because she said she liked “neat boys.” Even at that, she still ignored me. Thinking about it now makes me laugh. Teenagers love is sweet and foolish at the same time. But yeah, I definitely had one.
