Do you have a blog?

I have a blog running for years now. Though I am not very consistent with posting here, I will write there whenever I have my creative juices flowing. It's more like a personal diary too. It has some of my published and unpublished articles, poems and other creative writings like stories. I write in both English and Hindi. This blog is not monetized yet. But now I think of monetizing it.
I have just created a new blog in the same blogspot domain. It would be more from my professional sphere and I would like it to get views and even some earnings through monetization. I am yet to start posting in that.
How about you? Do you have a blog or do you plan to start one soon? Is you blog monetized and earning you some money?

I don't have a blog but I have always wished to try my hands on the blogs and monetize it but don't know from where to start from. Also, because of lack of time I am not able to think about it. I have thought of starting a blog or channel about education. I want to write about Maths of all classes. Maybe I start writing NCERT solutions of all classes in the channel. I don't know if it will work.

@Sanjeev. You have a niche that you like and know. You just get started when you find time. Success of anything is not assured. It might bring some revenue over the time. Doing something that you like and have passion for will give you a great sense of accomplishment and personal fulfillment. And you have a great intention to help students.

I agree. I know earning from the blogs is a gradual process so one should work hard and must not expect earnings instantaneously. I will surely start it soon and will share it here.

@Sanjeev. That would be great. You already have a job that takes care of your financial obligations. I agree that we all want to have multiple incomes sources. Monetary gain is always a motivation to put time and effort. But then one should always have something to do with passion. Start with blogging and maybe slowly once you get some footage and recognition, you can move on to selling digital products of these. Solved download able digital pdf for these solutions. You can always make it easy and understandable for students.

Yes, that is true. I will try it. I am very much fascinated with the earnings through the blogs. Whenever people say that they are earning well from their blogs my eyes widens up and I think of starting it but I need to make this dream to reality.

I've had online personal journals in the past. All the rambles about inconsequential stuff that happened during the day lived on its digital pages. How on earth did my online friends had the patience to sit and comment through my wall of texts I'll never know.

Lately I've been toying with the idea of you recording myself talking and have that as some sort of video journal for myself just to see how my appearance and opinions change as years go by.

I have a blog that is more like personal journal and one for my creative writing like poetries. I often feel guilty of being regular there. Reading the above posts makes me realize that it's a big struggle to be consistent with blog posting.

@Shortie . I am in the same boat, have been planning for ages now to redo it, start a new blog that I might think of monetizing later. But then life keeps coming in between. And would also blame my laid-back attitude too.
@Cedric . That is impressive. Are these monetized ones? Are you making decent money there?
@Starmix . 25 blogs in three months along with your work and business is impressive. I really envy your productivity and commitment. Haha. I am sure that your hardwork will pay and your site will do very well. Is it monetized or do you plan to do so ?

And no, I have not monetized my blog. I've thought about it but I've not officially done it yet.

Wow! That's a lot . 873 articles....that's a huge number. Even without a goal and a fixed schedule, you have done a tremendous job with posting so many of the articles. Hats off!
And I assume that your blog will have good number of visitors too. It would be easier for you to monetize it when you feel like doing it. Wishing you all the best.
