How good are you at saving?

Say for example you were to start the new year saving $30 a week how quick would you be to either stop doing this or needing to use it?

I'm really bad at savings but luckily the way I save for Christmas I can't touch the money until December.

I am good at saving, as when I know I have to spend money on something, I immediately cut off my expenditures by cutting bills and try to save money.

I always make sure that I save first out of my paycheck before spending anything. It is this discipline that helps me to always save every month, because if I should try it the other way round it’s all gone.

I am not very bad at savings but lately I have started to spend unnecessarily. I am planning to stick with a saving routine very soon.

To be honest, I’m better now than before. There was a time I couldn’t hold money for two days, I’d just find something random to buy. But now, I use budget apps and even try small investments. My mum taught me to always keep emergency funds, and it’s helped a lot. Saving is not easy though, prices just keep rising every day. But like they say, “cut your coat according to your size.” I try my best. Sometimes I still spoil myself because I needs it once in a while.

Everyone is not good at saving; one has to cut costs on all things, especially the bills. One of the best things for me, which saves money, is not to buy branded clothes and shoes. Parallely, I don't go out for lunch/dinner very often, or if I have to go, I don't go to the expensive restaurants.
