Maybe he’s just feeling nostalgic. Sometimes directors try to bring back old-school movie experience, but it doesn’t always work. Those 1970s horror films had their own charm. They are raw and creepy in a unique way. If Reeves can capture that spirit without making it look outdated, it might actually be a bang. But he better not turn it into another overhyped remake.
