I had heard that there was a shooting in Michigan today, but I had no clue they had set the church on fire too

My thoughts are with all those involved

Two people have been killed and several others injured after a mass shooting and fire at a Mormon church in Michigan, police have said.

Authorities said at a news conference that the suspect was shot dead by police officers, and that eight others were injured.

One is said to be in critical condition, Grand Blanc Township Chief William Renye told reporters, while seven others were stable.

I read it in the news and I was so devastated because I was left with nothing left to feel. Why something like that continues to take place is very hard to figure out. A peace and worship place transforming into a violent place. It is very horrible. I sincerely sympathize with the families of the people involved.

It is horrible. Lately, we are hearing such shooting cases in different areas. It's is so painful to see innocent people got killed in the shooting. Why did they set the church on fire?
