We have users from all time zones and all corners of the world. For some like me, the day is coming to an end now. And for others, it is about to start or would have just started. What have you achieved or planning to achieve today?
I had an accomplished day today. I could finish my long due dentist appointment. I have some follow ups in coming week and next. And I am close to achieving my online posting for the day. If time and energy supports, I might post a little over my target for today.
How about your day today with regards to your goals and accomplishments?

It's Sunday morning and we have a plan to do lots of things. As Diwali is approaching so have to clean house, have to go for shopping as wife has to purchase new curtains and foot mats, then my daughter has an exam of physics so wil have to teach her. So lots of things to do today. It's a more hectic day than a normal working day for me.

Sounds like a hectic day. Yes, festive mood has set in. Even I have started cleaning my house. We are not celebrating in a big way this year as my husband's sister's husband passed away in August. We will just clean the house, light five divas before God and do simple Pooja. Avoiding thr grand decoration, purchase etc. Else I would have been busy first to get preparation done for Navaratri Pooja and then Diwali.

Sorry to know about your husband's sister's husband demise. What happened to him?

Yes, we have to do the preparation a month before Diwali. My wife is having complaint of Sciatica so she can't do much work that's why she starts cleaning much before Diwali.

@Sanjeev. He had conditions like diabetes and kidney problem. He just turned 64 in August. Had retired two years back. He started with dialysis last year and it was all good. But then he developed a stomach pain. It was some infection that led to sepsis and organ failure. He was on ventilator for 21 days. It was all so sudden. A stomach pain which we took as gas and acidity led to such disaster. He was very much healthy despite his diabetes and kidney issues. Was leading a very active life. This was not on expected lines.
Its better to do a little each day than to exhaust yourself and get sick. I will do little bit of deep cleaning each week. That way things are not pile up. There is nothing much to clean when Diwali is there, I keep doing it all throughout the year. With age, the energy level is also low and we get tired easily. Better to take things slowly and steadily
