We all know that just creating a community doesn't mean people will flock to your forum. It takes time, dedication and a lot of promotion.

When it comes to your communities, what promotion methods have helped and worked for your community? Do you have any tips for other community leaders?

Honestly, what worked for me mostly is the word of the mouth and I’m also very consistent. I have never for once used paid ads to bring traffic, but, sharing on small Facebook groups and WhatsApp communities gave me a considerable traffic. Sometimes I even gist about my site casually in forums like this and that has also helped me to pull in some curious people. There is no single magic trick, it’s just patience and making sure that you keep posting steadily.
