Will AI replace humans?

Since the introduction of AI (artificial intelligence) there have been a lot of debate as to if AI would take over human jobs, and most people have concluded that it is only a matter of time for this to happen. While there are some who believe it is those who know how to make use of Ai that would actually dominate. What's your take on this?

I have a feeling that in time we will see AI replace humans in a big way. Even now, we are seeing AI replacing humans when it comes to things such as self-service checkout. Granted, you do still need humans for some of that to check things and verify things, but most of the time, AI works and does its job, and you can scan your own shopping without issue.

AI is helping a lot, but more mistakes are occurring presently. A robot cannot be replaced with a human because it is a programmed machine. This is still under development, and the developers want to develop it like a human.
