Do you cry in public?

Well, I do cry in public. Not the howling kinds( I am not able to do that even in private). But yes, I can't stop tears rolling down my cheeks. When I feel overwhelmed with emotions, I can't stop tears rolling down. I am an emotional person and I am not ashamed of letting my emotions shown in public. I have cried in movie theaters, choked while reading or teaching some emotional content to my students, cried listening to lyrics, see my students improve etc. I get both sad tears and happy tears. I am not ashamed of crying in public. How about you?

I can't say that I cry often in public unless something happens to make me cry.

The last time I cried in public was a few months ago. My mum, daughter and I went to see my dad in the care home as he was at the end of life, but when we got there after only heading home for a few hours to eat, we could tell he was getting worse and knew he didn't have long. The longer we sat with him, the worse it got to see, so we me, my mum and my daughter left, and my brother stayed.

Not knowing just how much longer my dad had left, we were obviously crying and had to run into the store to get a few things. Luckily, we never got asked anything. My dad passed less than an hour later.

I rarely cry in public, but I won’t lie, sometimes emotions can make one crying unknowingly. I remember one time I lost my dad and a friend, tears just dropped anyhow even though I was in a crowd. At that point, I don't even care. Crying doesn't portray weakness. Sometimes it’s just how the heart breathes

I was going to say no, but I guess a few tears watching a movie in the cinema hadn't occurred to me since it is in the dark. hahaha

I admit I've had the odd tear, like when I was informed while at work of the passing of a relative in the other side of the world. I had to ask for a a break and walked out but being in a very public area I pretty much kept it, did a pepe talk and returned to work.

It is weird sometimes I hate how emotional I feel I am but other times situations I think will get me to bawl don't hit me as strongly. It can be hard to say if I have become so good at repressing that my body does it on automatic without asking me anymore or if it is a the-older-you-get kind of thing.

When i was younger i have cried several times in public, even when i lost in competition lol. I don't cry in public any longer.
I feel you. As kids, we start crying at every little thing. I remember one inter-house sports I lost in secondary school, I cried that day like someone stole my future. 😅 But now, I've grown past that and I learn how to hide my emotions. Still, sometimes life hits hard and tears would just keep dropping. It’s human and it oesn’t make anyone weak.
