Are you still in contact with your high school friends?

@arunima25 It all depends on you; if you have some good qualities, you surely can make lots of friends. I didn't have many friends because I was shy and an introvert. But it's always a pleasure when you meet people who you left around 35 years ago in the school.

I'm currently in contact with only a few high school friends. Most of the kids I went to school with have moved away. But to be fair I didn't hang out with many of the kids I went to school with. I mostly hung out with a select few from my grade, my brother and a couple other kids. My social anxiety stopped me from talking to a lot of people.

I have lost contact with a lot of them, but i am still in contact with one or two, but we don't chat always.

I am basically an introvert only. Yes, I was active in sports and other activities. But not the talkative one or popular one. I have always preferred to be silent observer most of the times. I talk when if is needed like I talk a lot in my profession as that is the need. But otherwise, I am not one popular social butterfly kinds. I prefer to have quiet meaningful conversations. I have few friends but they are too close. Yes, it is a pleasure that one has friends for so long. That's a precious thing.
