Is jealousy a sign of love or just simply insecurity

I think it can be a sign of both. I think it's natural to have some jealousy, even when you're in a stable relationship. Sometimes people get worried about their partners friends.

I think it comes down to communication. Because often jealousy comes from not knowing, or being worried about what could be happening. It's like a paranoia. And I think if it goes unchecked, it can cause a problem in your relationships. Talk to your significant other about your feelings, if you're jealous, let them know. It becomes a problem when you're constantly jealous and question your partner. At that point, the relationship is likely over or seen its best days.

Jealousy can mean love, but not always the healthy kind. It’s that fear of losing someone mixed with wanting to be important to them. When you trust your partner, jealousy fades. When you don’t, it grows. So I’d say it starts from love but becomes insecurity if it’s not controlled. Love should build confidence, not suspicion.

Interesting question. I think sometimes jealousy can mean caring, but often it’s because of insecurity.
If you trust someone and communicate openly, there is no need to be jealous. It's as simple as that .
There are some jealousy that really do not mean insecurity. It just means that you are have genuine feelings and you are afraid of losing the person. Like I said earlier, if you have a significant other and they show no sign of jealousy around you no matter how small, then you need to be wary.
