Do you still wear face mask?

No, I don't wear them now, but I have seen few people wearing them. One such person works in my office, and when I asked her why she still wears the mask, she said that she feels something missing if she doesn't wear it. That was weird, but I found it valid.

I hate wearing face masks during the Covid time because it becomes a burden for me. What about you?

Nope and during the face mask requirements I had a card saying that I didn't need to wear one due to health conditions. Even though this was an official card from the government I still had people stare at me and tell me to put one on.

New Zealand was one of the countries that didn't get a lot of deaths though because of the strict lockdowns and stuff.

@Herman Munster absolutely Newzealand was one such country which was least effected by the virus. I didn't see anyone having such care issued by the government.

Originally it was a download that anyone could print but because that was getting abused people would have to apply to the government for a personalized card.

It could have been easily misused if it was easily available. Here no one was exempted; the government used to say that if you can't wear a face mask, then stay at home. And that was fine because many people were getting killed because of the virus in the second wave.

I only wear it whenever I have cold. And that is because I don’t want to infect others. There is no Covid anywhere anymore, so I don’t see the reason to continue wearing nose masks.

The people who ran the COVID lockdowns and stuff are now known by many people in New Zealand as dictators nowadays because of how strict they were both they could have caused many deaths if they were more lenient.

It got so bad the prime minister at the time Jacinda Ardern got death threats and had to resign and leave New Zealand.

People spent weeks on parliament grounds with a massive protest eventually the police had to stop protest actions as it got really out of hand with fires and threatening intimidating behavior.

There's still COVID around especially in the winter months but they try and treat it like a winter flu now. Business as usual.

We've just had winter here and there was a lot of sickness around.

I still wear mine sometimes, especially on buses or crowded places. Honestly, I don’t like it, but better safe than sorry. I sometimes carry it in my pocket and wear it only when needed. Germs haven’t disappeared, even if things seem normal now.

@Herman Munster Yes there is still Covid around as this virus won't disappear from our planet and we will have to take care of ourself by not getting infected by it. So we must save ourself by wearing masks.

I understand that but I hated wearing them.

@KrissyCakes09 Not only most of the people don't like to wear facemask as it's difficult to breathe when it's on. I noticed that surgical masks were better than the cloth masks for me.

I've seen many wear face masks but only on their chin I don't know what they hope to succeed with that. Some wear over their lips it's still not going to do much as the droplets can come from sneezes.

Maybe they do it when they are alone and cover up their face when they are in the crowd. But that's for sure—people feel breathing issues when they wear face masks. I also had that problem, so I used to prefer to sit at home.
