Do you tolerate pain or not?

There are people like me who tolerate physical pain and try to avoid doctors or painkillers for the pain. And if the pain increases to an extent that it's not bearable, I see a doctor. But I have seen people who see a doctor even for the small issues, even if the pain is bearable, because they want to know the root cause of the same.

What do you do? Do you tolerate pain or go to a doctor even if you have a little pain?

I would say that I tolerate pain well to some extent. I have been through childbirth and also the pain of gallstones and gallbladder attacks, and even now, with a hiatus hernia, when that flares up, that can be very painful.

I believe everyone is different, and each person tolerates in different ways and to a certain extent.

@Starmix I wonder why people need to go to a doctor for the flu because it gets cured by itself after 2-3 days. I also don't take medicine for the same. Even for a headache, I don't take a pill but apply any balm for the same.
Those who do not see a medic might have their flu severe for not taking their medicine, thus their sickness becomes complicated. Whenever I feel something bad, I immediately take paracetamol.

Even for a light fever, I consider taking paracetamol rather than going to a doctor, which many of the people prefer. I know fever comes because of exertion most of the time, and once you take proper rest, you get well.
I experienced a high fever the time when I had a case of chickenpox. I chilled and my body ached terribly because of c-pox. My dad brought me to the clinic, and I was healed after 5 days.

Whereas for me it took 10-15 days to heal up. It was not mild for me, as I still have scars from the chickenpox on my back. But these days we have a vaccination for the same, and I rarely see someone suffering from the same.

Once you get infected with c-pox, you will not be infected again. We only experience it once, but the scars are not easy to erase, except those on the face. And it is super contagious, if one in the family is having the c-pox, all members except those who are done won't be infected.
