Do you watch movies with or without subtitles?

Subtitles can make you understand the conversations better and follow along closely. There are some movies that I find it hard to understand their accent and pronunciation, so subtitles make me follow along with moves well.

Do you use subtitles?

Depends on the movie. Sometimes I just turn on the subtitles because the area around me is loud, or I'm having a hard time hearing the dialog. Or if I can't understand them. But often I usually only use subtitles if I'm watching a foreign language film or something. I can't stand American voice overs, so any foreign movie I watch, has to be subtitled.

It depends if I am watching a movie in language which I don't know then I prefer watching subtitles otherwise not.

It depends on the kind of movie I want to watch . If they are foreign movies and they speak foreign languages like the Philippines movie that I've always loved to watch, I mostly follow the subtitles. They help me catch up with the details so that I would not miss any action. They help to improve the comprehension in a film and to also not cluster things together.

I use subtitles only when I don't understand the language. As long as the movie is in the language I understand I don't use subtitle

If it's an English movie, i don't mind watching it without subtitles, but a none English movie, i always make use of subtitles.

I use subtitles often. No matter the language, specially if I am on the go or the environment isn't quiet. It makes it easier to keep me engaged.
Also because Spanish is my favourite language I have the habit to keep the English sub in case my partner is around and wants to check out what's going on.

Yes this is exactly why subtitles are very important. But even when they are English movies it can be hard to comprehend what they speak at times because of their accent. That is why I prefer to use subtitles all the time even if I can understand what is being said.
