I am still doing my dishes by hand, but it is a lot and can be a pain, especially having chronic pain.

I have been looking into the worktop dishwashers that they offer. With me living in a rented house, I am limited to what I can do, so a tabletop dishwasher would be ideal and would help a lot.

Ah, I don't mind doing dishes, but only when water is flowing well. Once I see plenty plates, I just sigh first, then use music to motivate myself. I actually find it relaxing sometimes, especially at night. But when you live with people that keep piling plates and pretending not to see them, that one can cause fight real quick.

I feel you! My kids can be the worst for this, and I have had to get super strict with them recently. They tend to use dishes and then just pile them up in the kitchen, waiting for me to clean them.

Music does motivate me, and I use it too. However, when it happens frequently and it feels as though they are just doing it because they know you will praise them and they don't have to, that is when I stand my ground and say something.

I won't lie, I hate washing plates after eating, especially when I'm feeling lazy. But I go back to it later. I remember back in school, my roommate and I used to argue whose turn it was to do the dishe. Now I just do it immediately before I sit down, because once I relax, forget it. Now I listen to music when doing it as it helps a lot. I just play Burna or Asake and it becomes easier.
