How much vegetable do you eat?

Whether we are omnivores, vegetarians, or just vegan, all of us eat vegetables. Vegetables not only provide us energy, but also are a great source of vitamins, minerals, dietary fiber, and antioxidants. Vegetables are low fat, low-calorie foods, and highly nutritious foods therefore, you should eat as much vegetables as you can .Irrespective of our eating habits, vegetables are an integral part of our daily diet. What is the percentage of vegetable in your diet?
 
I am a vegetarian by choice while others in my family are non vegetarian. I make sure that we have 3 servings of cooked veggies everyday and that does include a lot of green ones. And we do have some raw veggies like cucumber, carrot, lettuce, radish, turnips etc as salad as side dish. I like my plate to be colorful. Vegetables give us lot of minerals and essential Vitamins. They provide fibers and help in digestion. Vegetables also help in the absorption and assimilation of other nutrients. My veggies cover half of my plate.
 
I see a lot of fussy eaters making fuss with vegetables. They are very picky with veggies. For me, I just love vegetables and almost all the vegetables. Even a simple dish like omelette becomes special and packed with more goodness when loads of veggies are added to it. I add veggies to many such dishes to add that extra punch of taste and health.
