Is technology today making life easy or dependant?

For a long while now, there have been lots of debate as to if technology has actually been of help or just a way to make humans dependent. Personally i think it is a mixture of both. Technology has helped make things a lot easier, with the help of technology things that would have take days or hours can now be done in minutes but at the same time, it has made some persons too dependent. What's your take on this?

It has made things easier. I remember in the past we had to stand in long queues to deposit electricity or other bills which can now be done online. It was not easy to send money living far away from us but now it has become easy with the help of internet.

If anyone today is arguing that technology is making life dependent rather than easy, then that person better not be using any technology. Technology has led to a lot of innovations, which are in the best interests of humans.

It is making easy as well as too much dependent. I am using online communications for many years. recently, I was asked to write hand application for government services and I had a lot of difficulty writing on paper.

There's nobody that wouldn't say technology has made life a lot easier these days. I am very happy to say that I can order for food, book rides, and pay bills on my phone from the comfort of my home and that makes life a lot easier. Sometimes over dependant on it can cause problem. If everywhere is techbased, cutting it off will be a big problem and that is why we need to balance it. Technology is good but we must learn how to do without them, otherwise over-dependency can cause a big problem in the future.

Why must we learn how to live without technology? Will there be a time when technology will be no more? Technology is getting more advanced with each passing day. While it is true that we should not rely on technology too much, learning how to live without it is totally unnecessary.

Work and business are made easy with the introduction and advancement of technology unlike in the past when technology was out of reach. In this digital age AI is introduced making lives in the academe easier.

@Teegold Yes, I agree because we should acclimatize ourselves to live without it. It may happen that we may have to live in a place where technology is not as advanced as what we are used to.

In that case we will still survive. Humans have been surviving when there was no Internet. So we will still live on should there be an internet revolution.

With the advantage of technology, we no longer struggle to do research. We can do it by just glancing at our phone. Technology brings wonder and amazement to all lives on earth. However, some powerful people abuse technology, using Artificial Intelligence for their personal interests.
