New Year 2026 resolutions

I know that I am a bit too early to start this discussion. Year 2026 is still a couple of months away. But soon it will be here. Many people have the habit of making new year resolutions. And most of the times, they are not achieved in one year and keep spilling to the next year. Haha.
Well, I used to make new year resolutions when I was in my 20s and 30s. But it has been quite a long time since I stopped making them. My only resolution each year is to stay productive and make best use of the time and opportunities that I get.
How about you? Do you make resolutions for new year? How good are you at achieving them?

It's not early and I have plans to work really hard to make 2026 better than 2025 and also need to manage my mental health

@Ginger . You are right. It's not too early. November is already here. So, we are very close. You have a good plan in place. Taking care of ones mental health should be the utmost priority. I wish more joy, peace and sense of fulfillment in the coming year.

There was a time i used to make resolutions, but these days i no longer do this. I just focus on doing the best i can do and set little goals.

Every new year, I say I won’t make resolutions again, but here I am. In 2026, I just want to be more consistent and save more money. Last year, I started gym and dropped out after one month, lol. I also plan to read more books and reduce how much time I spend on TikTok and that has not been easy either, but I’ve learned that even small progres counts. I just pray for good health and steady income this year.

@eLdavis . When I was my younger self, I would excitedly make a long list of resolutions and goals. I would start with enthusiasm for a month and then slowly will go off track. With maturity,I realised that everyday is equally special or equally mundane. I just want to make the best of each day and live it to the fullest.
@uptrendfinancialsignal . Not only I but many would relate to that. I have stopped making any resolution. Just want to do the best each day and make best use of it. You are right that every single step in right direction counts even if it is a small one. Getting rid of distractions and addictions of something like TikTok is not easy. I hope that we all have 2026, a healthier one with more financial abundance and stability
