I have been a fan of country music ever since I can remember, and I have listened to many different country artists over the years.

I’m not even a big country fan, but I’ve always liked Kenny Rogers since I was a kid. It's one of those songs that just hit differently, especially “The Gambler” and “Coward of the County.” it's the favorite of my late dad and I remembered how he used to play them every Saturday morning, especially during environmental sanitation. That man’s voice is something else, calming and so deep. Sometimes I even find myself humming “Lady” without realizing it as it seems to be part and parcel of me. Honestly, his music never gets old, no matter how many years pass.
